Analogies:
Srila Prabhupada and our great acaryas have taught via analogies, which help us understand new concepts indirectly. We should know and be able to explain these analogies. Some examples are the analogy of the man lost in the middle of the ocean, of the sun rising on the horizon, of the mailbox, of the eggs of the scorpion, of the green bird in the green tree, etc.

Bhakti Shastri (English) Testimonials from successful candidates

These are the testimonials from successful candidates.

Hare Krishna,

Thanks a lot for providing such a nice course. I have learnt a lot even in the online association of H G Chaitanya Charan Prabhu. Also, the course compelled me to read the books of Srila Prabhupada very analytically and deeply. I got a lot of inspiration for strict devotional practice from this course.

Raghav Kirtan Das

Hare Krishna,
Please accept my humble obeisance,
All glories to Srila Prabhupada,
I recently completed the Bhakti Shastri course.
The course was well presented, excellent lectures and very well explained.
The main advantage is that course is online, so we may work in our own time while ensuring that quizzes, assignments and other course requirements are completed by due dates. The support is tremendous from ISKCON staff. This course has also assisted me in my bhakti and serving Lord Sri Krishna, my Guru Maharaj, devotees and ISKCON.
I highly recommend this Bhakti Shastri course to devotees.
Your humble servant,
Maheshwar das.

Maheshwar Das

I really enjoyed doing Bhakti Shastri with Caitanya Charan Prabhu. His vast knowledge and ability to explain concepts thoroughly truly helped me to deeply understand the scriptures. I also liked the exercises and the assignments, as they challenged me to demonstrate my understanding, as well as my application of the philosophy in real life.

Bader Soma

The online course allowed me the unique ability to perform at my own pace. Having already completed Bhakti Vaibhav before pursuing Bhakti Shastri, I wanted to complete the course at a swift pace which the online program offered. Any questions that I had were quickly and competently handled by Raas Bhakti mataji. The process was so full proof that none of my answer papers were lost as may happen in some offline course due to human intervention. We had access to record of all the answer sheets we uploaded and also would be able to see the status on each paper with regards to where it was in the correction process. Additionally, many paths of self-study such as videos and well-made reading study materials and quizzes were available to get us to the level of attempting a closed book exam. For me in person I would avoid long videos and rather read notes at a quick pace because I was pursuing Bhakti Vedanta at the same time and had to crunch in time to do both simultaneously. I started in March and completed all four topics in July in under four months. All this was only possible because of the sturdy online platform, and most wonderful person who was available almost anytime to clarify certain thing which I could not understand online or needed handholding to understand the process upfront or along the way or even some doubts that I would have from the notes.

I am thankful to the entire online team for having provided me such an efficient platform where I could complete my Bhakti Shastri in under four months compared to two years or so that I confirmed in few offline centers.

Radhakunjabihari Dasa

Srila Prabhupada always wanted us to study deeply his books and qualify ourselves to preach. In this regard, Bhakti Shastri course through Bhakti Courses/elearning platform was very much satisfactory. The platform is accessible and easy to deal, the admins always answered soon, so as the team did, as far as grades and corrections are concerned. The teacher, H G Chaitanya Charan dasa brahmacari, has deep realizations and knowledge of scriptures. He scrutinizes the sastra through classes, being very understandable, and respecting the full meaning of our founder-acharya.

Also, the course is ideal for those who need to deal with schedule, because one can manage according to its timetable.

Jahnava Isvari devi dasi

A team of 8 students embarked on an unfamiliar journey. We were not certain as to what was in store pertaining to the course. Being from South Africa we do not have the kind of knowledge that our Indian counterparts have.
But we were ready and determined to take on the challenge.
We were pleasantly surprised. The facilitators took us through the learning process extremely well.
The course material was of such high standard and quality but we could fit in and understand the concepts and facts presented. We benefited from their huge fund of knowledge.
The administration staff especially Raas Bhakti Devi Dasi navigated our queries and accommodated our several requests.
I place on record the sterling work of the management and facilitators.
We send our gratitude to Chowpathy academy (BACE Chowpatty) from ISKCON Sandton, Johannesburg, South Africa.

Ratnalekha Gopi Devi Dasi

I would like to express my gratitude to the entire team for giving this opportunity to complete Bhakti Shastri Course through online. With the mentorship and guidance by H G Chaitanya Charan Prabhu, who directed the course in a layman language, with appropriate examples and analogies, helped me to understand the philosophies and various topics from Srila Prabhupada’s books. Moreover, the entire course was designed very systematically. The materials, ppts, pdfs and question banks etc which were provided for each module, were easy to understand and to learn. As a student, I was able to manage my academic studies as well as continue the course as per my convenience. Whenever I had any doubts regarding the course or any topics, the response was always satisfactory from the team. Hence, I would like to thank the entire team for designing such courses and helping many of us to understand the philosophies of Krishna Consciousness.

Chaitanya Madhav

After having been introduced to Krishna consciousness years ago, the philosophical understanding this course has given me, has been life-changing! It has not only solidified my own knowledge but also helped me with preaching related activities and immensely increased my appreciation for Srila Prabhupada and the Guru parampara.

Being a working mother of two young kids this was the perfect platform for me. The layout of the course let me study at my own pace, where I could study at my own pace, balancing my duties as a mother and also my personal seva and sadhana.

I will be ever indebted to His Grace Chaitanya Charan Prabhu for his most insightful and systematic teaching of the course. Like Srila Prabhupada famously said: “Philosophy with religion is mental speculation and religion without philosophy is fanaticism”. The lectures give an in-depth, logical and academic understanding of the Krishna conscious philosophy which bolsters spiritual practices.

Besides the above points, the online platform has been seamless and the admin support for the course has been brilliant.

Prema Rasika devi dasi

Being a busy working single mother with two jobs I was very glad about the opportunity to follow a Bhakti Shastri course in my own tempo and online. I was guided clearly and carefully, and all my needs (especially during the pandemic) were met with patience and great care. I am very happy I was advised to study at your institution. It was a pleasant and nourishing experience as the teacher is excellent and the admin is very attentive and always approachable. I am most grateful!
