Srila Prabhupada, the founder-acharya of ISKCON, wanted devotees to gain a systematic understanding of the profound Vedic philosophy that he presented through his books.

“Soon we shall be introducing the Bhakti-sastri examination which all brahmanas will be expected to pass. It will be based on Bhagavad-gita, Nectar of Devotion, Nectar of Instruction, Sri Ishopanisad, and the small paperback books like Easy Journey to Other Planets. A brahmana should be a pandita.” (Srila Prabhupada Letter to Brsakapi, 7th January, 1976)

This site is a humble attempt from ISKCON Chowpatty to facilitate devotees in fulfilling this instruction of Srila Prabhupada.

Bhakti Courses offers you on-demand training. Our online courses are internet-based video sessions that are available 24/7 wherever you are. Learn online at your own pace, when and where it’s convenient for you. While there are deadlines, devotees can learn at hours convenient to their schedule. It is an attractive prospect for devotees who have many other spiritual commitments and obligations. It offers convenience and flexibility to devotees with busy lives as there is hardly any disruption of home and work life. You progress at your own rate, taking only the number of courses / modules that suits your schedule. It is also economical as it reduces the total costs of course if you include travel or staying. However, distance learning also requires discipline. To be successful, devotees must be self-motivated and responsible in their independent studies.

All of our courses are designed specifically for the distance-learning medium and are taught by outstanding devotee instructors with many years of classroom teaching. Our online courses nearly replicate the face-to-face classroom.
